Gühring KG
Gühring is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of rotating precision tools for metal cutting. With over 8,000 employees worldwide, including more than 3,500 in Germany, the company develops, manufactures and markets innovative cutting tools at over 70 production sites in 48 countries. Foundation
Gühring was founded in 1898 by Gottlieb Gühring. 1921 Oskar Gühring takes over the company. After the Second World War, the company was rebuilt in the 1950s. Dr. Jörg Gühring joined in 1964. In the 1970s, the company inernationalized, since then is considered the inventor of modern coating. In 2000 Oliver Gühring joined the company. Since then, Gühring has been regarded both as an innovation driver in lightweight construction and as the tool manufacturer with the highest turnover.
