Plasma technology opens up completely new possibilities in industrial manufacturing and product design.
Through targeted activation, functionalization or coating, surfaces can be cleaned in an environmentally friendly way, new material combinations can be used and new surface properties can be created. The Controlled Adhesion (COAD®) process developed by the Fraunhofer IST demonstrates a new level of controlled surface functionalization for industrial use.
In this seminar, we will present the current state of the art in atmospheric and low-pressure plasma as well as possibilities for process control and surface analysis. You can test your own samples directly on various systems.
You will learn how process gases and coatings increasingly contribute to adhesion control on surfaces. Tantec A/S will explain the latest standards in automation and efficient production with plasma technologies. Plasus GmbH will show you the possibilities of process diagnostics using optical emission spectroscopy. Experts from the Fraunhofer IST will provide an overview of how plasma treatment and surface analysis interact and show where the technology can develop in the coming years.
